John Noltner is a freelance photographer based in
Minneapolis, specializing in images of people, lifestyle and travel.
For 15 years he has made images around town and around the world for
editorial, corporate and advertising clients. Projects have taken John
to corporate boardrooms as well as the bustling streets of India. He
has photographed luxurious spas in Chicago and prisons in Honduras.
Recent projects have found him rock climbing in the Black Hills, kayaking
the Apostle Islands, and documenting survivors of Hurricane Katrina.
15 years of professional photography experience have given John the
technical skills to solve problems on the go. Positive people skills,
curiosity, and a sense of humor give his images insight and depth.
John's award-winning photos have been published in numerous regional
and national magazines, including; Forbes, Health, Midwest Living, Minnesota
Monthly, Northwest Airlines—World Traveler, Reader's Digest, Smithsonian,
and The World & I.
Some of his clients include BlueCross BlueShield of Minnesota, Carleton
College, Excel Bank of Minnesota, Hamline University, Medtronic, Opportunity
Partners, The Hazelden Foundation, University of Minnesota, and various
state tourism offices.
John's fine art photographs have been exhibited locally and regionally.
His prints are included in the permanent collections of the University
of Minnesota, Minnesota History Center, University of Wisconsin, and
numerous corporate and private holdings.
